She is tremendously knowledgeable about her area and the surrounding areas. Beyond her wonderful team at Compass, she recommends a responsive team including a loan officer, insurance broker, and title company who she worked closely with through the whole process. Stephanie’s coordination allowed us to complete the process in RECORD time (19 business days) over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays! This would be remarkable under normal circumstances; however, these were not only the holidays, but we completed the negotiations while we were on vacation SCUBA diving in Indonesia (with a 17 hour time difference). Her steadfast positive attitude was especially important negotiating with the seller's broker and seller who were also remote, and out of the country. I want to emphasize that Stephanie is immediately responsive during all stages of the process, usually responding within minutes of our inquiries via phone, text, what’s app, email – all of which she monitors diligently! She worked with us closely at every stage of finding our house. At first we were not sure whether we wanted to live in the redwoods, in Half Moon Bay, or elsewhere along the coast. In August, we began our journey with Stephanie showing us options in a very broad radius. We returned for a few days in November for more tours. She was always cheerful and appropriately exuberant when we were eager, and NEVER pushy if we were not eager about a particular place. She always told us the pluses AND minuses of the various locations. We came to trust her judgement and really enjoyed her lovely personality and company. Once we found our dream location in Seal Cove, she provided us with updated information about the geological issues in the area and stood with us through the whole negotiation process. Now that we have passed the threshold to our new home, Stephanie remains our 'go-to' resource for all aspects of renovations. She recommended a superb architect and construction company that is also wonderfully communicative even meeting with us the day we visited before buying the house and on the day of closing plus 2 times for several hours over the week and weekend thereafter. We still live in Austin Texas, so having Stephanie as a resource and now a friend is so important. We have come to trust her to give good advice and to modify her opinion if we discover a reason to do something different than she originally recommended.
